Apple to produce iPhone 14 in India

This week Apple announced that it is building its newest iPhone 14 in India as the American tech giant attempts to move some production out of China. The company announced in a statement.“The new iPhone 14 lineup introduces groundbreaking new technologies and important safety capabilities. Were excited to be manufacturing iPhone 14 in India,” The gadgets are being produced at Foxconn, Apple’s primary iPhone assembler in Sriperumbudur outside of Chennai. Since 2017, the Cupertino, California-based company has been producing iPhones in India, though often they were older models. Close to the new iPhone 14s launch, Apple is this time making the new phone in India for the first time.
