Because of the effects of Hurricane Ian, NASA has decided to postpone another launch for the Artemis 1 mission until at least the middle of November. The SLS and Orion spacecraft, which was moved back into the Vehicle Assembly Building on September 27 as a precaution, had been inspected by NASA late on September 30 after the storm had passed. The spacecraft had been transferred there as a precaution. The Artemis 1 mission launch attempt has been ruled out for the upcoming launch window, which starts on October 17 and ends on October 31. Instead, it will concentrate on the subsequent launch window, which spans Nov. 12 through Nov. 27.
