SpaceX launches 53 Starlink satellites

Nearly three tons of supplies, including two new space suits for NASA, were carried to the International Space Station by SpaceXs latest rocket launch this week. The second mission which also launched this week added 53 additional Starlink satellites to orbit, raising the total number of active Internet spacecraft in orbit to more than 2,500. The launches received relatively little attention from the general public and the space community because Falcon 9 launches are so frequent. Additionally, SpaceX is making headway on its Starship rocket of the future. Within the next six months, a series of test launches for this super-heavy lift rocket are most likely to start from South Texas.
