SpaceX on Sunday successfully launched an Indonesian satellite from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The PSN Satria satellite was launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 6:21 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and sent to geosynchronous transfer orbit, SpaceX said.
A video shared by Twitter user @WR4NYGov shows a view of the launch from Jetty Park in Port Canaveral.
The communications satellite, launched for the Indonesian government and Indonesian satellite operator PSN, will provide broadband internet and communications capabilities in rural regions of the island nation.
This was the twelfth launch and landing for this Falcon 9 first stage booster, SpaceX said. It previously launched CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, mPOWER-a, and four Starlink missions.
